1. Using We Teach MFL Play

These Terms apply when you access or use We Teach MFL Play. By using the service, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these Terms.

Teachers and schools are responsible for supervising classroom use and for deciding which students should be given access.

2. Accounts

• Teacher login details must be kept secure and must not be shared except where a product feature expressly allows separate authorised seats.
• You are responsible for activity carried out through your teacher account.
• Information supplied when creating or managing an account should be accurate and kept reasonably up to date.
• Student access details should be distributed only to the intended students or class.

3. Classroom and student use

The service is intended for educational use. Teachers and schools should not enter unnecessary sensitive or confidential information about students.

Users must not use the platform to harass others, impersonate another person, disrupt a live game, attempt to gain unauthorised access, probe security controls, upload malicious material or interfere with the service.

4. Subscriptions, billing and beta access

Some features may be offered free during a beta or promotional period. We may change, limit or end beta access as the service develops, with reasonable notice where practical.

Paid plans, where offered, are billed according to the price and billing period shown at purchase. Payments are processed through Stripe. Any statutory cancellation or consumer rights that apply to you are not excluded by these Terms.

5. Content and intellectual property

The platform, game designs, question banks, graphics, software and other materials supplied by We Teach MFL remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Access to the service does not transfer ownership of that material.

You may use the service and its classroom-facing content for ordinary teaching and learning purposes during your permitted access. You may not copy, resell, systematically extract or republish substantial parts of the platform or its question banks without permission.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the platform available and reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed. Features may be updated, added, removed or temporarily unavailable for maintenance, security or technical reasons.

During beta periods in particular, functionality may change as we test and improve the product.

7. Results and educational use

Scores, accuracy figures and progress information are designed to support classroom teaching. They should not be treated as the sole basis for high-stakes educational, disciplinary or assessment decisions.

8. Suspension or termination

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, prevent abuse, address non-payment, investigate security concerns or enforce these Terms.

9. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, We Teach MFL is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, or for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
